Syllabus Restrictions
- Material danced should be based on the NDCA, ISTD, DVIDA, Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray, or equivalent syllabus. Lifts are allowed only in a solo exhibition.
- The NDCA approved step list will be invigilated.
- NDCA dress codes will be strictly enforced.

Dancing Consecutive Levels +
Age Divisions
- Students can dance Newcomer for one year only, regardless of style.
- Teachers can only have one entry per dance/level and age category.
- Students MAY dance up to 6 consecutive levels in each style. For example, 6 levels would be Beginner Silver, Pre Silver, Intermediate Silver, Intermediate Open Silver, Full Silver, and Open Silver.
- Adult students MAY dance their actual age group, plus one age group younger.
- Organizers have the right to merge or cancel heats in any event with fewer than three entries.
- Students MAY NOT enter both the Bronze and Open Multi-Dance Events and Scholarships in the same style.
- Students MAY NOT enter both the Silver and Open Multi-Dance Events and Scholarships in the same style.
NDCA Registration
- All Pro/Am teachers are required to have a 2021 Registration Number with the National Dance Council of America.

Top Studio Qualifications
- Based on a combination of packages, entries and placement points.
- The top 3 studios will receive a trophy.
Top Male + Female Teachers
- Will be determined by a combination of entries and placements as described on the DanceVision website.
- In addition to the Teacher’s Pot of Gold prize money, the top male and female teachers will receive trophies.
- Multi-dance and scholarship entries count as one entry toward the Teacher’s Pot of Gold award money, and Top Teacher awards. Top teacher placements will be announced based on the DanceVision Circuit point system.
Solo Grand Challenge
- Solo exhibitions can last a maximum of 3 minutes.
- Music must be individually labeled with student’s name and heat number.
- All music must in MP3 format and brought to the music directory on a non-protected flash drive.
Top Student
- Trophies will be awarded to the Top male and Top female Newcomer, Bronze, Silver, and Gold students based on number of entries.
- A trophy will also be presented to the Top Amateur couple based on number of entries.
Payment Policy
PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES.
Early Pay pricing is available for entries received with payment in full by TBD.

- Balances paid after the deadline must be paid with cash or cashiers check.
- Any prize money (scholarships, Pot of Gold), cannot be used to deduct balances due.
- In the event of lack of entries, the organizer has the right to combine, cancel or reduce the prize money for any scholarship.
- The deadline for cancellation with full refund is May 1, 2020. A letter requesting a refund of payments must follow cancellations. After this date there will be a 20% service charge on cash refunds. Package fees and admission tickets are not refundable. Refunds will be made within 30 days following the event
- Canceled entries taken at the event cannot be substituted by another entry and will not be refunded.

No Private Videotaping
Professional videographers will be available to videotape your dancing for a fee.
